VHAS is an independent, non-profit museum. Join us and support our mission and vision! Location: 108 S Seventh St, Vineland, NJ 08360

Our vision is to be the leading cultural organization that promotes and preserves Vineland’s history through innovative programs and events. The Vineland Historical and Antiquarian Society is the oldest local historical society in New Jersey, headquartered in the oldest purpose-built museum in the state. It was founded in 1864, just three years after the town of Vineland was established by Philade

lphia attorney Charles K. Landis, who was a life member of the organization. Our collections include 19th century glassware, art, musical instruments and photographs, as well as Native American artifacts and Civil War memorabilia. The First House ever built in Vineland (in 1862) is located on the grounds of the museum and is available for tours. The Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit that relies on donations and financial support from the community.

Plenty of free parking in the lot directly across the street from the museum.

Proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase solar window shades for the first floor of the museum. These shades will reduce the exposure of our collections to harmful UV rays and preserve the integrity and vibrancy of our artifacts.

The Vineland Historical and Antiquarian Society is rasing funds to install UV-protection for our museum windows to help prevent sunlight from fading and damaging our collections. We're also upgrading our security camera system to better protect the museum and the irreplaceable history it holds.

Every artifact, photograph, document, and historic object in our museum tells a piece of our community's story. Help us preserve these treasures for future generations.

Your donation will help us:
-Protect artifacts, photographs, textiles, and documents from harmful UV exposure.
-Strengthen museum security with updated cameras and monitoring equipment.
-Preserve our community's history for generations to come.

Thank you for supporting this important project. If we're fortunate enough to exceed our fundraising goal, every additional dollar will be used to support the museum's mission through future preservation projects, educational programs, and community events.

Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. If you're unable to donate, you can still help by sharing this fundraiser with your family and friends. Together, we can protect our past and preserve it for the future.
