I’m in the thick of window & mural season - but now that the graduate & his family have had a chance to share… I had the recent honor of creating this hand-illustrated artwork capturing Kyle's journey and his time at Wheaton College.

I think the beauty in a custom piece like this is that it captured an experience - not just generic monuments of a college… This captures where he lived all 4 years, his dining hall, favorite restaurants, where most of his classes were, the sports he played - including the pitch, press box, & scoreboard (customized with the year, and his best game!)

It's a gift & keepsake I hope he treasures for a lifetime. Thank you for the honor of working with you and your family again, Cheri. You have so much to be proud of. 🧡💙

Yesterday’s project: doors for Family Worship Center - with a request for a stained glass look. ⛪️

The majority of the lines that you see through this design are actually just negative space of the glass itself (*see the last photo*) so when the sun shines through the glass on Sunday mornings - the congregation will see a beautiful design from the inside too. The last photo is the design as viewed from the inside.

Yesterday afternoon’s project, getting The City of Tuscola ready for America’s 250th Celebration. 🇺🇸 🦅 🇺🇸

This is another project that I’m teaming up with Tuscola Chamber & Economic Development on - to bring Window Splashes, a Summertime Scavenger Hunt, & Patriotic Spirit to the community and businesses in Downtown Tuscola!

I had the pleasure of painting this beautiful nursery this week for some sweet parents-to-be (just awaiting a green wainscoting which will bring it all together.) They wanted a whimsical botanical pattern with animals worked into it. There are rabbits, geese, bees, dragonflies, and their own pets: a dog and cat worked into the design - to welcome little one to her room. (I came up with the grid pattern - and love the way it wrapped into the dormer. What a magical space to grow up in.) 🌱🪿 💕 🐇 🌼

I thought I had my Winter-themed projects wrapped up until well… November. But this afternoon I got to complete these Lobby Windows for Maroa-Forsyth High School ahead of their upcoming Musical: White Christmas! I have to say, snow-scenes are way more fun when it’s sunny & 80 outside.

*I LOVE little architectural studies, and truly gasped out loud when we stumbled upon this street view in Rome… I have had the strongest urge to paint my interpretation of it since.*

Libby Jo Art Studio will be out of the Country today through February 23rd, 2026. (Bonus points, if you recognize the sculptures below - you’ll know where we’re going. 😉)

I’ve worked hard this week to catch up on estimates and commissions ahead of this trip. I will answer any messages and inquiries upon my return the week of the 23rd.
