Vermillion Optimist Club Vermillion Optimist Club is a volunteer organization who works to make the future brighter by bringi Application fee of $15.00 and Pro-rated yearly dues.

We are a group that supports Youth Activities in our Community. Projects include Oratorical Contest, Essay Contest, Youth Safety, Respect for Law, Youth Appreciation Week, Food Pantry, W.H. Over Museum Discovery Room, Tri-Star Sports, Internet Safety to name a few. The Club meets at Noon on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at The Roadhouse Restaurant on 911 East Cheery St. by the DQ. 2nd Thur

The Oratorical Contest is fast approaching. March 27th is the contest at the W.H. Over Museum on 1110 N. University Street next to the dome in Sletwold Hall. Starts at 6:30pm, so contestants arrive early. Contact an Optimist member or President Dennis Steffen at 605-760-3034 or [email protected]. There are applications at the Library also.
