Flowers are NOT enough for Mother’s Day.

They’re nice. Wonderful even. But if you really want to score the brownie points this year, you’ll get flowers AND the Maine Features Magazine. Here are 7 reasons why the magazine is a fantastic choice.

1) It will lower Mom’s stress level. Its pages contain nothing political or controversial. Hours of enjoyable reading await her.

2) It is valuable from cover-to-cover. She won’t be asking, “Where’s the beef?” (some of my fellow Gen X-ers will get that one) There are no ads. Just good Maine content.

3) It will contribute to her cognitive health. Now Mom is likely sharp, but we have to keep stretching the brain muscle and exploring new things. So far, no reader has reported back that they already knew everything included in issue one. Everyone has learned something.

4) If Mom is too tired to read, there are 163 photos for her to enjoy. Only one of those is not original to Maine Features. They are real Maine photos…not generated, not stock images. One of the most frequent feedback comments is how much people enjoy the pictures.

5) The magazine is high quality and will look great on Mom’s coffee table.

6) The vast majority of the content is evergreen. That means it isn’t dated; she can enjoy it for a long time.

7) It is unique. There’s nothing else like it in the market. No one has ever before researched, met locals, photographed, and written about every town in the state of Maine.

CAUTION: By all means, if Mom doesn’t like Maine, do NOT even consider getting this magazine! That would a disaster. Stick to the flowers. Otherwise, pick up a copy in one of the Maine businesses carrying the magazine, or order right here today so it arrives in time. https://maine-features.myshopify.com/products/magazine-first-issue

It’s on sale (less than you’ll pay for the flowers) so you won’t even break the bank, but don’t tell Mom. She’s going to think you spent way more when she feels the paper quality.

P.S. You can ship it right to her. Reply to your order confirmation email with a message from you for Mom, and I'll include it. Just don’t use as many words as I did in this post.
