Donor event, yard comings and goings, a great before and after, Obon walking tour.

Thanks Camp Sealth volunteers for your hard work! Meade guys put some time in earlier this summer. We so appreciate all the volunteer support we receive. One time volunteers and stalwarts keep this place vibrant.

Obon Walking Tour tomorrow, Vashon Cemetery!

The tour will profile the lives and legacies of four of Vashon’s Japanese-American families, and will also include details about the beautiful trees that surround their graves. This event is a happy collaboration between Mukai Farm & Garden, Vashon Cemetery, and the Vashon Heritage Museum. The tour starts at 1:00 near the cemetery parking lot, and then again at 2:30.
