Van Area Oil and Historical Museum

New Hours for the Van Area Oil and Historical Museum have been added!!!
Starting June 15, the Museum will now be open for tours every Monday and Wednesday - 1 pm to 4 pm. It will continue their regular Saturday hours of 10 am to 2 pm.
Nice place to spend a little time out of the heat this summer!

We had a great visit with the teachers, students and parents, from Christian Heritage School in Tyler. They came to the museum for their field trip and then to spend time at the City of Van splash pad and park. It's been a really good day.

VISD 2nd grade students enjoyed their school field trip today at the Van Oil Museum. Had a great day with teachers and students.

Don't forget our " Delayed " Easter Egg Hunt is today - April 11th 10am Bring the kids out and get some eggs.

Last week we got canceled by the weather, but we have decided to go ahead and have our " Annual Easter Egg " hunt on Saturday April 11th. Gather up at 10:00 am and hunt at 10:15. Sorry about the delay but we hope you will bring the kids out for some fun.

The Oil Museum had some guests stop by on January 31st -- ( L to R ) member Ron Brey, Billy Thurber of California, Mark Joy of Oregon, member John Beall, Matthew Joy of Alaska . Had a great visit with these guys.
