Thank you Valley Center! The Valley Center Historical Museum's ice cream social was a great evening! Thank you to everyone who stopped by tonight to donate, eat ice cream & check out our exhibits. It was wonderful to see so many members of our community.

It's ice cream day!! Come down to the Valley Center Historical Museum today (Sunday August 23 2026) from 6 - 8 pm for homemade ice cream!!!

It's donations only. We can take cash or checks. Main Street Valley Center is helping us out if you prefer to donate through vemno or PayPal - just notate "ice cream" & they'll pass it onto the museum.

We'll also have raffle tickets ($10/ticket) for a chance at a new vehicle.

It's almost time for ice cream! Sunday August 23 2026 6 - 8 pm at the Valley Center Historical Museum (Meridian & Main). It's a donation-only event, so just give how you're led. We're grateful for every dollar!

Our neighbor Emprise Bank had some concrete work done this week, so please be mindful of the cones & avoid walking on the curing concrete.

There will be a few parking spaces available at the museum for people with mobility issues. Please park on Main Street & walk over to the museum if your health allows.

We can't wait to see you Sunday!!

It's 4th Saturday! Come down from 10 am - noon Saturday August 22 to the Valley Center Historical Museum to check out our exhibits. We'd love to see you!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for HOMEMADE ICE CREAM!!!

Be sure to come by the Valley Center Historical Museum this Sunday August 23 2026 from 6 - 8 pm for a homemade ice cream social. No set fee - just donations for the museum's upkeep & operations.

Friends, it's Second Saturday & the Valley Center Historical Museum will be open!

Come by anytime from 10 am - noon on Saturday August 8. You can walk through the house & the education building, look at year books, & see farm equipment.

You can even buy a raffle ticket for a chance at a new vehicle! Tickets are only $10 with all proceeds supporting the museum.

That leaves you plenty of time to go over to Anne's Attic for her 22nd Anne-iversary celebration!!

SUMMER HOURS! SUMMER HOURS!!

The Valley Center Historical Museum is trying something new this summer. We'll still be open the 2nd & 4th Saturdays, but we're cutting back on hours. We'll be open 10 am - noon.

The new schedule starts this Saturday, July 11. Come by & see us!!

We're an all volunteer organization & scheduling was getting tricky due to all of our vacation plans. We're going to give shorter hours a try for a bit. Let us know what you think!

You can contact us to arrange a visit. Either message us on Facebook or call (316) 755-9927. Please leave a message & we'll get back to you to set an appointment. It may take 1-2 days, but we'll call you back!!

Roof repairs are getting underway to the Valley Center Historical Museum on Monday June 29 2026. The lovely folks at Dingers Roofing & Construction are taking care of us!

We apologize for any inconvenience to anyone going to Emprise Bank's VC location. Parking will be a bit crazy until both of our buildings are completed.
