June 6th, on this day in history, 82 years ago, the U.S. and allied forces launched the largest naval invasion in history. D-Day! Fighting against the occupying forces of fascism in France and Europe, they took many casualties but eventually won. It took years and many men and women gave their lives for the ultimate victory over the N**i regime. This is what anti-fascism looked like in the past. They believed it was worth it. We should never forget.
