I’m sure the pioneers relied on hardy drought resistant perennials but I don’t think they had to worry about their hollyhocks accidentally being sprayed as white top. Thankfully I think they might survive being sprayed as hardy as they are 😅 it will be interesting to see how they recover.

Howdy Everyone! We are one month away from Outpost Days!

Mark those calendars for Outpost Days June 6-7th. This year the museum is cutting the ribbon on the new Pete Rathbone addition to the Annex and having a soft opening for the new Hanley Wagon Barn. The museum is growing by leaps and bounds and you wont want to miss this years event.

Friday marks the end of the summer season for the museum. We want to thank everyone who came by to visit and for any donations.

We appreciate our docents for volunteering their time each week to be available sharing their love of local history. The museum will be available for tours during the off season by scheduling an appointment.
