We've received a lot of questions about the unveiling of the 1976 Time Capsule, so we wanted to provide a quick update.

At this time, our organization has not been given any indication that we will receive the contents of the time capsule. If that changes, we'll be sure to let everyone know.

As far as we know, the contents will remain at the Lowndes County Courthouse until such time in the future that they may potentially be relocated. If you have questions regarding the time capsule or what might potentially be done with the contents, please contact the courthouse or the lowndes county public information office.

Thank you all for your interest and support! We'll continue to share any confirmed updates as they become available.
