You've seen my art. But you've never seen where I make it. This is my studio — and I use that word generously. It's actually the basement of my home. That big white stain on the carpet? That's from a can of paint I dropped a couple of years ago. It went everywhere!!

What does your creative space look like? I want to see it 👇"

I shared an image of the three paintings about a month ago. They're still not finished and I will repost then when they are, but I thought I would share them now. They're different for me and I'm not sure how I feel about them yet. I guess I'll know for sure when I feel like they are finally done. I'd be happy to hear any thoughts you might have about them. I'm not looking for complements, just what you're seeing and feeling. I've been painting for too many years to take offense. (Rejection is literally in an artists job description.) Thanks!

Playing around with watercolor. It's such a wonderful medium.

I thought I would share a few new little watercolors. Each is approximately 5 x 7. They were a lot of fun to paint!

The blue and grey ones reminded me a bit of intuitive painting painting class I have taught in the past.

I don't typically add paintings this small to my website but you will find these available for sale today.

I'm taking a break from flowers for the moment!

This triptych is as yet untitled. Is love to hear your suggestions for one.

The ocean throws the ultimate underwater paint party, and you’re officially invited. 🌊✨

The rules are simple: no straight lines allowed, and the dress code is strictly shades of blue. The deep-sea currents brought the heavy midnight blues, the tropical shallows supplied the bright teals, and the hyperactive waves crashed in late, tossing buckets of white foam everywhere like confetti.

This three-panel snapshot, "Echos of Blue", captures the exact moment the party got a little out of hand. The ocean tried to split itself up to look presentable, but the wild, churning energy just couldn't be contained by a couple of frames. It's proof that sometimes, making a beautiful mess is much more fun than staying inside the lines!

Take advantage of your opportunity to see this painting in person at Gallery Twist in Lexington, MA through October 11th!
