There will not be a museum board meeting on the 4th Thursday in August. We will meet again in September.
Museum is still open for regular hours every Tuesday from 1 to 4 p.m. and the first Saturday from 10 to 2! The first Saturday in December will be the last day we are open in 2026. Be sure to come by that day and help us celebrate the holiday season!

Thank you to everyone who came in the Urich Museum on Saturday and walked through our Living History Tour! From 9 am until noon, we had well over 100 visitors and several more through out the afternoon!
Thank you to all the volunteers who played the roles and shared their knowledge of the folks who made Urich the wonderful place it is!
Also many thanks to the Urich Reunion Committee for naming the museum as "Organization of the Year"
We have terrific support from the community and beyond and are thankful for the kind words!

We are 2 weeks away from the Urich Reunion and 16 days away from hosting our first ever "Living History Tour " at the museum. Saturday, August 1st from 9 until noon, plan to join us as our volunteers tell the stories of times gone by. You will move through the museum and listen to 10 different stories by folks who can tell you about people from the past (and one who is still around!), that will be interesting and informative.
As always there is no entry fee but donations are always appreciated! See you on the 1st and enjoy the 132nd Annual Urich Reunion!

The Urich Museum took it's float and attended the Olde Glory Days parade in Clinton, MO on Saturday, July 4th! As president, I want to give a huge shout out to everyone who made this possible! The weather was great and the people were great!
Don't forget our upcoming "Living History Tour" which takes place on Saturday, August 1st during the 132nd Annual Urich Reunion!
The tours will take place from 9 a.m. until noon. The museum will be open that day until 5 p.m.

The monthly meeting of the UCHS will be Thursday evening, June 25th, at 7 p.m. Anyone is welcomed to attend.
Would you like to be a member of the UCHS?
Couples can join for only $15.00 a year. Singles $10.00 a year!
You'll receive our 8 page newsletter 4 times a year! Also, we are always looking for volunteers!

Because the first Saturday in July is the 4th, the Urich Museum will not be open that day. It will be open the following Saturday, July 11th, 10 to 2 p.m.

The Urich Museum has canceled it's service with Brightspeed. That means that we no longer have a land line and the telephone number that we've had for several years is no longer in service. Please feel free to call our president, Patricia Doll at 660.525.1199 with any questions! Other contact numbers are listed in our quarterly newsletter and posted on our sign at the museum entrance!

The Urich Reunion will be here before we know it. That means the museum is busy getting ready for our open house on Saturday, August 1st. We're busy planning our first "Living History Tour" This will take place from 9 a.m. until noon on the 1st. You will be taken around the museum and meet people from the past who made Urich a place to remember. If you don't make it by in time for the tour, please know the museum will be open until 5 p.m. that day. There will be no charge for the Tour but as always, donations are welcome. Thank you. We look forward to seeing you soon!

The May newsletter has been mailed out. We hope you enjoy it! There has been quite a lot going on in Urich.
The reunion committee is working hard putting plans in place for the 132nd Annual Urich Reunion. Dates are July 30th through August 2nd.
We hope you'll be able to attend!
The museum members are also busy planning for our first ever "Living History Tour" Be sure and come in to the museum Saturday, August 1st from 9 to 12. We'll be taking you through the museum and you'll get to meet people from the past who made our community the place we call home!

The UCHS hopes everyone is having a wonderful spring! We are gearing up for a big event that will take place on Saturday, August 1st from 9 until noon! This is the Saturday during the 132nd Annual Urich Reunion. Make plans to visit the museum while you're in town for the reunion!
