The wedding season appeared to have ended, but Cecilia's call changed everything – they needed to get married before their license expired. Where do you take couples to be married in Erie’s winter? We met in Sheraton hotel lobby and headed to the glass-enclosed skywalk between the Sheraton and the Bayfront Convention Center which proved ideal, boasting spectacular views of the bay and city. Surrounded by Cecilia's sisters, who provided support and photographed the moment, Jerome and Cecilia exchanged vows. Heartfelt congratulations to the couple.

Janae and Bret celebrated their wedding yesterday which was my last ceremony for 2025, a truly uplifting occasion. And while the temperatures dropped outside, their family and friends gathered around them, filling the air with love and warmth. Following the ceremony, they all gathered outside, braving the cold, for a quick family photo with a beautiful vista behind them. What a great way to finish my 2025 season!😍

I stepped in to perform Brenden and Kat’s wedding later this afternoon when their scheduled minister had to back out several days ago. The Barn at Brown’s Farm was a great natural venue as Brenden is a horse trainer and has a couple of his own horses that, when not training, live comfortably in their own barn. I will look forward to seeing them race at next season’s horse racing at Presque Isle downs! Congratulations and best wishes!

A very busy weekend….and it’s not over yet. Caleb and Lydia celebrated their wedding this afternoon among the autumn woods at Whispering Trees Manor in Edinboro. The rain stopped in time for the outdoor ceremony where, among the bridal party, Lydia’s family’s three pet goats joined in the procession.
