Since 2004, after creating large trophy fish for a neighboring city, fish were on Dean Konop's brain. After cleaning out some art magazines, Dean stumbled across an article about Art*O*Mat and Clark Whittington of North Carolina. Dean was inspired to create something for Art*O*Mat and thought that a smaller version of the 6 foot trophy fish, just might work out. Creating a prototype and sending it

to North Carolina, Dean's Something Fishy... was accepted and now has been sold in over 100 different areas of the country. Currently Dean has created over 3,000 "Something Fishy..."fish blocks.

I had a different shape of fish and they seemed to hang off the sides to much, so I never used them. Then I had a request to make some Beat-EELs fish and I thought why not use them as they won't go in a machine, so I made these with the customer's favorite songs in the background.
