❤️ A PIECE OF CHOM IS FINDING A NEW HOME!

As the Children’s Hands On Museum in Tuscaloosa prepares for its next chapter, some of its beloved exhibits and educational pieces are getting a new life in another Alabama community!

Dr. Brittany Anderson and her team have moved several donated items from CHOM that will become part of the new DREAM Center, a children’s museum planned for downtown Demopolis.

The DREAM Center will give children throughout Demopolis, Marengo County and the surrounding area new opportunities to explore, create and learn through hands-on experiences.

These photos show some of the donated pieces being carefully removed from CHOM and prepared for their journey to Demopolis.

What a wonderful way for these exhibits to continue doing what they were created to do — inspire curiosity, imagination and learning in children for years to come! ❤️

There’s a little bit of everything available — furniture, exhibits, school supplies, toys, antiques and much more, spread across all three floors.

As Children’s Hands-On Museum (CHOM) closes this chapter, we’re thrilled that part of its legacy will continue inspiring children for years to come.🎉

CHOM will donate several exhibits to help launch the Demopolis DREAM Center, a new children’s museum planned for downtown Demopolis. The center will provide opportunities for exploration, creativity, and hands-on learning for children in Demopolis, Marengo County, and the surrounding area. We are honored that a small part of CHOM’s legacy will continue inspiring future generations through this exciting new community resource.📚
