Meeting monthly, the Board has responsibility for the organization’s strategic direction & ensuring the fiscal health of the non-profit Foundation. Board members are also dedicated ambassadors & advocates for the Arts Center.

New skills, fresh ideas & a willingness to provide strategic guidance are always needed on the Board. You might be a good fit for our team if you have experience in areas such as:
• Business Administration & Finance
• Community Engagement
• Fundraising
• Information Technology
• Grant Writing
• Non-Profit Law

Be inspired by the works of the great masters -- from Monet and Van Gogh to O'Keeffe and Kahlo! In our Masterpieces class students, ages 8-11, will learn about the work of important artists and make their own masterpieces. This class is on Thursdays from 5-6pm and starts November 3rd. Tuition assistance is available! Qualifying students can attend class for less than $13 a month. “Our Sierra: Works by David & Vivian Patton” is now on view in our Lobby Gallery! Groveland-based artists David & Vivian Patton create work that reflects their personal experience living in the Mother Lode and Sierra foothills. Inspired by the landscape, history, and wildlife around them, their artwork in pastels and photographs brings the beauty of the region to life. Join us this Thursday, October 15th from 6-8pm for a free reception celebrating this new exhibition! Our Galleries are open Tuesday – Friday, 10am – 5pm. Admission to this exhibition is free.

Our next Family Friday is this Friday, October 16th! Join us for a Pumpkin from 7-8pm. Smiling or scary, we will paint and decorate pumpkins and enjoy a pumpkin treat. The CAC will provide one small pumpkin per person while supplies lasts.

Teen Wheel Throwing is back this fall! In this class students, ages 12-17, will explore foundational techniques for throwing on the wheel including centering, pulling, and shaping, as well as, how to finish their projects by trimming and glazing. This 7-week class takes place on Wednesdays from 5-6:30pm starting October 28. Tuition Assistance is available. Qualifying students can attend class for less than $27!
