In our Art Start class budding artists, ages 5-7, will explore the basic elements of art and will gain foundation skills in this delightful intro to art! The September session takes place on Tuesdays from 4-5pm starting September 8. Tuition Assistance is available. Qualifying students can attend class for less than $11 a month! Teen Wheel Throwing is back this fall! In this class students, ages 12-17, will explore foundational techniques for throwing on the wheel including centering, pulling, and shaping, and how to finish their projects by trimming and glazing. This 7-week class takes place on Wednesdays from 5-6:30pm starting September 9. Tuition Assistance is available. Qualifying students can attend class for less than $27! Ready to develop your drawing skills? Practice line, form, texture, shading, and composition we will gain basic understanding how to create dynamic and thought-provoking work in our Introduction to Drawing class. This class takes place on Tuesdays from 6:30-8pm, starting on September 8th. Tuition assistance is available, qualifying students, aged 18-21, can attend class for $15 a month. It’s the last week to see “Carnegie Art Showcase”! Stop by the Ferrari Gallery to see work by some of the most talented artists across California before this exhibition closes August 29. The gallery is open from 10 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Saturday.

We are excited about our exhibitions for our 2026-27 season! On view in the Ferrari Gallery this Fall is “Prism Play: A Full Spectrum of Art Quilts”. This exhibition will be followed “Valley Focus: Painting en Plein Air” in Spring 2027. During Summer 2027 the Ferrari Gallery will welcome back two annual exhibitions, “Ready, Set, Show!” and “Carnegie Art Showcase”.

During the 2026-27 Season our Lobby Gallery will be filled with work by artists from throughout the region! Opening in October is “Our Sierra: Works by David & Vivian Patton”, followed by “About Faces”, a juried exhibition opening in early 2027. Returning in the Spring of 2027 will be our annual “Farms & Fields” exhibition and the “Yosemite Renaissance” will wrap up the season in August 2027!
