This Friday, we’re kicking off the Artists’ Open House Weekend 30th Anniversary Show with a special Opening Reception at Pink Arrow Arts Gallery in Montrose!

For three decades, Artists’ Open House Weekend has brought artists and the community together across Susquehanna County. This special exhibition celebrates that history with artwork from past and present AOHW artists.

🐙 The Kraken is coming to the Old Carter Barn!

Tomorrow night, Saturday, July 18, The Deep Sleep will be on display for the duration of the Summer Sessions - NBAT event featuring Barn Burnin’ Blues with 🎸🔥

This nearly 84-pound steel sculpture contains more than 2,500 individually formed scales and took more than 500 hours to complete.

Photographs never fully capture the scale, depth, and small details built into the scene, so this is a great opportunity to see it up close.

The Deep Sleep is also available for private acquisition for the first time ever. Serious collector, corporate, gallery, museum, and institutional inquiries are welcome.

🎨 CALL FOR ARTISTS!

Applications are now open for the North Branch Member Show, taking place at the Wyoming County Courthouse in Tunkhannock, PA, from August 7 through September 29, 2026.

The show is open to current North Branch Art Trail Artist Members working in 2D media.

Already an NBAT member? Let us know you are interested in participating.

Not yet a member or need to renew? NBAT Artist Membership provides opportunities to participate in exhibitions and regional events, connect with fellow artists and arts organizations, and receive additional promotion through North Branch Art Trail programs.

🎨 We're so excited to introduce our newest facilitator, Debra Lee Osborne, presented in conjunction with the North Branch Art Trail who will be teaching YOU how to draw. You can clearly see her talent in this pencil drawing she did.

Debra has been an artist her whole life. Self-taught, passionate, and published since she was twelve. But here's what makes her special as a teacher: she knows what it feels like when art is the only way you can express yourself.

That's the energy she brings into the room. And that's the energy you'll feel when you sit down, pick up a pencil, and surprise yourself.

No experience needed. Just curiosity.
