Wyoming County Historical Society building will be closed from Sept 1-6 .
Come see us at the Wyoming County Fair in the Jim Dillon Barn. We'll have books, our Commemorative Ornaments and maps for sale. This year our storyboards will information about the Revolutionary War and the Wyoming Massacre.

The new cover photo is "View on the Susquehanna River, 1872," a painting by Charles Wilson Knapp.

From Incollect: "Knapp was born in Philadelphia. He worked in Cleveland from the mid-1850s to the mid-1860s, with a stint in New York City around 1860, before settling permanently in Philadelphia."

The Oldest House in Laceyville, PA, was built in the 1780s. Today, it serves as a museum where guests can enjoy guided tours.
