"The Gladiator"

This big coast brown bear sure looked like he ment business. He confidently headed straight towards my camera. I was firing as fast as I could but this one frame stood out. The death stare, the claws and the body language all saying do not mess with me. Images like this is what drives my passion with bear and other wildlife photography.

I am loving this little sequence of this Harrier Hawk. It was cruising around this field hunting and hit full hover mode for a moment preparing for an attack. Unfortunately what ever it saw it wasn't a possible meal.

On January 19th Earth had one of the largest CME's since 2003. There was lots of hype that this was going to be the biggest Aurora storm ever. I had my bags packed and ready to go, however some the important numbers were not trending in the direction needed to produce a visible storm. I went to bed and randomly work up around 3am in the morning. Checked the aurora apps and the BZ number had plummeted deep into the negative (that's good for the visibility of a storm). I jumped out of bed and took off to the east shore of Tahoe. With special permission arranged to access this private property I headed down to this cool lighthouse that has been on my hit list for Aurora storms. The sky was full of color and the camera with an 8 second exposure showcased the full extent of the color.

“ starburst reflections”

Super excited about this new piece from the east shore of Tahoe. I arrived early for sunset and the sun popped out through the clouds so I quickly grabbed the camera and set up. Unexpectedly the starburst reflected on the super smooth lake.

I pulled a full audible last night after dinner as the radar was showing less clouds than forecasted, leaving my house around 9pm I headed to the farthest part of Tahoe from my house in hopes of catching the largest Aurora storm of 2025 so far. The minute I closed the doors on the truck I could see color in the night sky and quickly ran to this favorite viewing spot. As I was dialing in my exposure and composition the moon decided to join in on the viewing party and helped illuminate the surrounding trees and mountains to create this truly surreal landscape. This image is beyond anything incould have dreamed of. “Ascension”

Happy Nevada day! I have spent the past 3 years working on finding a location and the right timing to capture the beautiful fall colors in Reno paired with the bright lights of downtown. Finally everything lined up last night. This panoramic image is over 60 inches long straight out of the camera and is incredibly sharp thanks to zero wind and a sturdy tripod for the 4 second exposure needed.
