Ticket sales are trending high for the annual New Jersey Women’s Hall of Fame Gala hosted by the YWCA of Trenton on Friday, September 25, 2015 at The Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village. Don’t be left out! During the evening the YWCA will honor six outstanding women and their service to our community.

Caren S. Franzini, President, Franzini Consulting, LLC is one of our honorees. Caren’s firm provides strategic assistance with real estate development projects; identifies local, state and federal incentives to fill funding gaps; and assists economic development organizations with their development and review of programs and projects. Previously she served as Chief Executive Officer of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) from January 1994 until October 2012. Ms. Franzini has been recognized for her contributions to business growth and economic development in the state.

Sheila Gallagher- Montone, Publisher, The Times of Trenton (retired) is one of our honorees.
Sheila is a second generation newspaper professional. She worked for Mercer County’s leading daily newspaper, The Times of Trenton, for over 28 years in positions ranging from Sales Representative to, ultimately, Publisher. While Publisher, Sheila accepted numerous awards on behalf of The Times.

We would like to thank our many sponsors who are supporting the annual New Jersey Women’s Hall of Fame Gala hosted by the YWCA of Trenton on Friday, September 25, 2015 at The Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village. During the evening the YWCA will honor six outstanding women and their service to our community.

Virginia Long, Counsel, Fox Rothschild, LLP is one of our honorees. Retired New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Virginia Long joined Fox Rothschild in March 2012. At Fox Rothschild, Long devotes her efforts to assisting clients with ethics and appellate matters, corporate governance and governmental integrity investigations and to serving as a mediator and arbitrator providing dispute resolution alternatives in civil and matrimonial cases. She also spearheads the firm’s pro bono efforts in New Jersey and was recently appointed to the Supreme Court special committee on attorney ethics. Long was nominated by Governor Christine Todd Whitman in 1999 to serve on the New Jersey Supreme Court where she served for 12 years.

Etta Rudolf Denk, Senior Vice President, Bank of America New Jersey is one of our honorees.
Etta has been with Bank of America since 2008. She is responsible for the alignment and delivery of Bank of America’s marketing and charitable resources to meet constituent and community needs across New Jersey.As an active champion for meaningful change, Etta’s leadership and advocacy for public and private partnerships has positively impacted many New Jersey communities. Etta’s accomplishments have been widely recognized and celebrated throughout her career. A graduate of Rutgers Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, Etta received a BA in Urban Studies. She is a resident of Maplewood, and is active in numerous organizations.

Tickets are going fast for the annual New Jersey Women’s Hall of Fame Gala hosted by the YWCA of Trenton on Friday, September 25, 2015 at The Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village. During the evening the YWCA will honor six outstanding women and their service to our community.

Jennifer A. Downing, Esq., Chief Assistant Prosecutor, Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office is one of our honorees. Jennifer has degrees from Rider University and Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware. Jennifer began her legal career serving as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Paulette Sapp-Peterson (retired). She has been an Assistant Prosecutor with the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office for approximately 16 years. Jennifer has worked in various units within the Prosecutor’s Office. She currently serves as the Chief Assistant Prosecutor of the Special Victims Unit. She has previously served as the Chief of the Megan’s Law Unit and also holds the title of Senior Assistant Prosecutor. Jennifer is a legal instructor to new recruits attending the Mercer County Police Academy, and conducts annual trainings for officers and detectives throughout Mercer County. She also conducts trainings for all of the public and private schools, as well as the colleges and universities within Mercer County on the subject matter of sexual assaults and child abuse.

The New Jersey Women's Hall of Fame is proud to announce its first member of the Class of 2014:

Dr. Beverly Allen Richardson, Vice President, Burlington County Community College, will be inducted along with 6 other women on March 20, 2014. Congratulations!

The remaining inductees will be announced over the next few weeks. Stay tuned!
