Have you visited the Champaign County History Museum lately? They currently have Pioneers of Radio, and Dorothy Schroeder and the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League!
Explore the role of radio in the America along with history of some local stations .
Baseball fans will also learn about Dorothy Schroeder—born and raised in Sadorus, IL. She became the youngest player at the age of 15 in the league when she was recruited to the South Bend Blue Sox in 1943.

Abraham Lincoln traveled through Tolono by locomotive at least eighteen times. He whiled the time away for his train connections by playing horseshoes and visiting with the Tolono residents. (A historical marker located in Tolono in Champaign County, Illinois.)
