Toledo artist Ivan Kelly’s oil painting, “Yaquina Head Looking North,” has been juried into the 19th American Society of Marine Artists National Public Art Museum Traveling Exhibit, which will begin at The Albany Institute of History and Art, in Albany, New York. The exhibition will then travel to the Minnesota Marine Art Museum at Winona, Minnesota, where it will be shown through May 2024. Ivan Kelly's oil painting of Newport's Coast, entitled "Surf Watching" depicting Winter Storm on the Oregon Coast is juried into the American Impressionist Society's 24th Annual National Juried Exhibition!
The exhibition will be held at Somerville Manning Gallery in Greenville, Delaware in the beautiful Brandywine Valley. This exhibition will feature 168 juried artworks created by some of the nation's best impressionist artists. There were 1,657 entries for consideration.
Ivan Kelly is a self-taught artist who has been realism paintings with oils for over 40 years and his artworks have been shown in many national and international exhibits.

Toledo’s flying colors for First Weekend Art
Toledo is a small town that finds pride in all it has to offer, from its varied industries to the local community events that bring people together. The local arts community of Toledo is a significant presence on the coast, with galleries and studios dotted throughout the town. On the first weekend of every month, the arts community opens its doors to visitors and art lovers to give a behind-the-scenes view of their works and see what’s new. First Weekend Art at Ivan Kelly Studio-Gallery theme will be The Beauty of Landscape and its Wildlife.
The exhibit will include a recent animal oil painting, "A Surprise Meeting in the Rockies", a 20 x 30 oil painting of a grizzly bear.
Along with other animal paintings of NW wolves, bighorn sheep, and sea otters.
Also on display, on-location Oregon Coastal landscape including 8 x 16 on-location oil painting, "Morning Walk on the Dunes"
Ivan has been a Signature Member of the American Marine Society of Marine Artists since 2000 and privileged to be juried into several public art museum tours.
