Founded in 1976, ABAC’s Georgia Museum of Agriculture preserves and celebrates Georgia’s farming heritage through immersive exhibits, historic demonstrations, and educational experiences for all ages. Stroll up Main Street to the Feed and Seed store, the print shop and drug store. Georgia's Museum of Agriculture and Historic Village opened as the Agrirama on July 4th, 1976. Over 35 structures have been relocated to the 95 acre site and faithfully restored and preserved. Costumed interpreters explain and demonstrate the life-style and activities of this time in Georgia's history. The Georgia Museum of Agriculture Vulcan Iron Works Steam Locomotive is the only steam powered train in regular operation in the State of Georgia. The grounds consist of six areas:
