Over Memorial Day weekend, we had the honor to host the John Wayne Pioneer Wagons and Riders. Every spring, this remarkable group rides the 200+ miles of the original John Wayne (Palouse to Cascades)Trail from North Bend to Tekoa, WA. While they make their way through Kittitas Valley, they camp out at the Thorp Mill on the old ice pond. It truly is a pleasure to host such a great group of people and we look forward to seeing them all again next spring!

One of the perks of volunteering is a self guided tour of the Mill without all the crowds!
