Our volunteers and members are working hard getting the houses all set up for our guests to visit during the Yellowstone Trail Day along Hwy 175 Wisconsin . Remember it's June 6th, 2026 9-3.

The Reklau cabin got a update with living quarters, lace curtains, and new labels on the items. We want to thank Kelly & Becky at Theresa Village Hall for helping us laminate and cut out our labels!

With Memorial Day coming up, we wanted to honor the American Legion Post 270, Theresa Wisconsin members and past commanders. We had this board of photos at the Sheifer House in our Military Display.
Our "History Detective", and Social Media Manager, Laura Bruederle, has volunteered in redoing the board and photos.
This is where YOU, our , can help. There are 2 men that have no photos. Is there any family members or friends that have photos of these men? This way Laura can finish out the board.

We love that we can help out local non profits, community outreach programs, and other historical societies by cross promoting their fundraisers. Working together is the way we can make our neighborhood strong and build our motto into "preserve and share"

We are having our last work day at the Solomon Juneau Historical Homestead on Monday May 18th 2026. 10 -4 pm getting it prepped and pretty for our first event Yellowstone Trail Day along Hwy 175 Wisconsin on June 6th. Come for the day (Lunch will be supplied) or come for an hour. RAIN or SHINE, there is plenty to do in the buildings too. Thank you!

During our Spring Cleaning, we found some treasures that were tucked away or hiding in plain sight. Our volunteers helped remove the tags and labels on the items & exhibits (Taking a photo of them first so we can ID them again) We are going to print up new labels for our guests to enjoy, read and learn about the items we have.
