This year is gonna be a big one! 🎉

🚛 We have tons of large vehicles for everyone to see. Tour an ambulance, meet firefighters and police officers. See how large equipment works, up close! Vehicles from Ajax Northwest LLC, fcpowersports, columbia_gorge_toyota and more!

🚧 Learn about Safety from Safe Kids Worldwide.
Visit Booths from The Army Corps of Engineers, Premier Community Supports, Bikers Against Child Abuse, One Community Health and More!

🍦Grab tasty treats from frosty_peak_ice_cream, bubbas_brew, and our Kettle Corn booth sponsored by Greg Johnson and his Daughter Laura Johnson.

🎪 Visit Brick City & Games activity tent, get an exciting balloon creation from Balloon Twisting with Hannah, visit Haley’s booth, Tinsel Trail for hair sparkles. Laura and Trish from fairygodmothersevent will be providing a bounce house and face paint!

🎟️ Tickets for the bounce house, kettle corn and face-paint must be purchased at the check in desk OR at our additional ticket table. $5 per activity, per person.

This event is free, but we appreciate any donations and encourage you to support the vendors on site as they will donate a portion of their sales back to the museum. This will be a jam-packed morning with lots of fun and exciting things going on. Please remember to be patient with each other, and with the volunteers and staff putting on this event. We are so excited to see all of you there!

Today we have our last feature for the 2026 Touch a Truck Raffle- another gift card rapid fire!

🔹Lucky Littles donated $40 gift card and a children’s pop book. Their store is located in Hood River and has the dreamiest children’s clothing and supplies you have ever seen.

🔹The newest addition to The Dalles Restaurant scene, D’Avanzo’s Italian restaurant will be donating a $50 gift card toward a delicious meal in their new location!

🔹mookie_hoodriver will be donating a $30 gift card for a super sweet treat from the cutest dessert truck on the port in Hood River.

🔹 thedallescoffeeshop has donated a $30 gift card with “The Coffee Shop” tote bag. Grab a drink and a breakfast goodie and stroll through all that The Workshop has to offer! Located in The Dalles.

🎨Our first raffle donation for today comes from and her business Banners by Chelsea. She will be working with one lucky winner to create a custom banner for an event of your choosing! Think big! Birthdays, Graduations, First Day of School and more! Chelsea makes beautiful banners and we are so grateful to have her be a part of this raffle! Check out her Touch a Truck banner on display in the museum this week!

🍪 The second business spotlight for today comes from another local artist, Megan from ! She has donated a delicious mixed box of macrons & sugar cookies. We are so excited to see what Touch a Truck themed cookies she delivers! You can find her goodies at , downtown The Dalles.
