Well, we are at it again! The old girl needed some more work, so the team decided it was time to “git’er done “. This bunch is a hard working group and there’s nothing too big for them to tackle. I’m thankful for each one!

The Museum will be closed for the month of August as we prepare for all our Fall events and our Grand Re-Opening of the Museum on December 6th.

Talk about team work!! Things are getting started on the renovation of the model train display. Thanks to our model train experts, Bill Bowers and Dillon McAdams, it’s going to be amazing! In the meantime, our team will be ready to assist whenever needed. And yes, that’s Ruth Meggs and Mary Lee on top of the table! Diane Campbell and Hardie Henderson are lending a helping hand as well!

Hey, ya’ll, help us out! If you like out post, please like and share!!

Did you know. . . One of the Worlds Greatest Rodeo Clowns was from right here in Teague, Texas?

In honor of America’s 250th Birthday and Teague’s famous July 4th Rodeo and Parade we are featuring D. J. Gaudin, otherwise known as Kajun Kid!

Kajun worked many rodeos around the country including the Astrodome and Madison Square Garden. He worked with many famous stars such as Festus from the show Gunsmoke and Michael Landon from the show Bonanza.

The B-RI RR Museum has a special display this week with pictures and memories of Kajun Kid and many of his sidekicks.

Stop by during Rodeo Days and check them out.
