Dear friends and client friends, I might ought to have written this post a month or so ago. Sorry for the delay. I have chosen to close the gallery. The year 2021 was wonderful, I had just moved to Taos in June and opened the gallery in July. Met lots of great people who helped me along the way—too many to name, you know who you are. Sales were good and I was loving navigating having a new gallery. As 2022 unfolded sales were way down and my location deemed not optimal. Every day I went to the gallery smiling and feeling optimistic but underneath that I felt a sense of sadness and begin to lose my enthusiasm as the days drug on throughout the spring and summer. The Plein Air Painters show was a lot of fun and invigorating but I knew I needed to close. It was devastating for me and my next chapter of life is unfolding slowly.
Nick is off to college at NC State as a sophomore and Tessa is studying in Nairobi this semester.
I bought a bit of a fixer-upper in Arroyo Seco so that’s enough for now. Please reach out if you do desire, I would love to hear from you.
