Las Comadres Gallery is a women's cooperative group offering locally made fine art and crafts that represent both traditional and contemporary works that are inspired by Northern New Mexico. Las Comadres was founded 18 years ago here in Taos and continues today as a thriving example of how a networking group of women can come together in a supportive and cooperative manner to create and market the

ir work. Eleven local women, each with a personal space in the gallery, offer handcrafted items and original art, both in traditional and eclectic forms.
