Sulphur Springs Museum and Heritage Center

Sulphur Springs Museum and Heritage Center We celebrate the cultural, social and natural history of Sulphur Springs and the state of Florida, through exhibits, programs and events.

We seek to contribute to the cultural and economic development of our unique neighborhood. The Sulphur Springs Museum and Heritage Center was created to celebrate and preserve the social and natural history of Sulphur Springs, a community that helped Tampa grow. Once known as the Coney Island of Tampa, Sulphur Springs has many historic sites and buildings, and a rich history. The Museum has exist

ed since 2006, offering educational programs, but in February 2017 it opened in a new space at Mann-Wagnon Park, on the scenic Hillsborough River, and since then we have been able to host exhibits, community lectures, and more. The Museum is run entirely by volunteers, and depends on donations and grants. Regular opening hours are 12PM - 4PM, Wednesday through Sunday.
