KidsART awards are in!!!! Please help us get the word out to these young artists!!!!! They receive a free scholarship to Arts Camp, museum medal, art supplies and a laminated copy of their artwork. Those who received a Dr Lee Talladega City Schools Superintendent award will see their piece hang in the administration building for the next school year! All names are under the photos below!! We are happy to announce the winners of the Merit Awards and Superintendent Awards for KidsArt 2026! If your child won an award they will receive a laminated copy of their artwork, a medal, a certificate to Arts Camp, and an art kit. You can stop by the museum to pick it up!

🌲🎨 KidsArt 2026: All About Talladega 🎨🌲

The Talladega National Forest is one of Alabama's greatest natural treasures, and our young artists have captured its beauty through their artwork in this year's KidsArt exhibit.

From towering trees and winding trails to the plants and wildlife that call the forest home, these pieces celebrate the natural wonders that make our community unique.

If your child is in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade at Evelyn D. Houston Elementary School and their work is in the exhibit, you received a letter in May about the reception and award ceremony.

Awards will include a free Arts Camp registration for this summer!

When people think of Talladega, one of the first places that comes to mind is the Talladega Superspeedway! Fast cars, colorful designs, and the excitement of race day inspired this artwork featured in our KidsArt exhibit!
