🎃👻 Thank You for a Spooktacular Hallo-Week of Fun! 👻🎃

We had an absolute blast getting spooky at Fairlawn Mansion during our Hallo-Week of Fun! From our Victorian Séance Experience and flashlight tours and the new explorer tour to Pumpkin Land and our Haunted History Talk, it was five events full of Halloween fun! 🕸️🕯️

A HUGE thank you to our amazing tour guides and volunteers who helped bring all five events to life. We couldn’t have done it without you! ❤️

We’d also like to give a special shoutout to Superior Spooktacular for helping make Superior the Halloween Capital of Wisconsin! 🧡🖤 We’re so grateful to be part of such a fun and spooky community!

🎃 We can’t stop thinking about this GIANT pumpkin! 👀

Carving specialist Mike Rudy and his partner Isabella turned this 815-pound gourd into a Spooktacular creature, and we can’t get enough of their incredible work! 🧡👻

Thank you to everyone who came out to our first annual outdoor Halloween event! We had great weather and an amazing time!

We’re getting ready for a spooktacular week at Fairlawn Mansion, and we can’t wait to help make Superior the Halloween Capital of Wisconsin! 🕸️🦇 Here’s another look at all the frightfully fun activities we have planned to celebrate the spookiest season of the year!

🔧 Day One of Meteor Crack Repair is in the books! ⚓

Now that the SS Meteor’s season has officially come to a close for the year, we wasted no time getting our friends from Fraser Shipyards on board to begin repairs on the hull!

The project is expected to take about 10 days, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally get this long-awaited repair underway! We’ll be sharing updates as work progresses, so stay tuned to see how things are going aboard the world’s last above-ground whaleback ship! 🚢

A huge thank-you to the team at Fraser Shipyards for helping us preserve this incredible piece of maritime history for generations to come! ❤️

This is your last weekend to visit the Meteor and the Firehall in 2026!

After this weekend we will close our two seasonal museums until Spring 2027. In the off season we will conduct repairs, upgrade infrastructure, and add new exhibits and artifacts to each site!

Join us for one final weekend before we say goodbye to two of our three museums for the year.
