Schedule of Classes
Children explore the world around them through intellectual, physical and emotional methods
All these factors play a part in their art. Painting helps children's coordination, gives children confidence, trains children's concentration, and helps children make friends
In my studio I try to make a friendly environment, and kids have fun during learning process. In depends of th
eir age, and their skills, they have different project. Usually I start with free painting, and then step by step teach them the foundation of drawing and painting. I don’t want they just copy the picture, they will learn how to fit the object with their imaginations. During the learning process, they learn important elements of drawing and painting, such as Line, Shape, Color, Texture, form, Value, and Space. Also they learn oil pastel, watercolor, color pencil, Acrylic structure and technique, such as graduated, mixing, blending, negative and positive space, and they will understand how to use these techniques and apply them to their projects. Painting gives children confidence. As with most children's crafts, painting is more about the process and the learning than it is about the finished product. By putting children's artwork on display and giving them lots of encouragement, they get the boost of self-confidence that's so important for their development and growth. Painting trains children's concentration. When children draw and paint, they learn to shut out surrounding distractions. Through their work they get to revel their emotions and sort through different impressions, helping them to get better understanding about them selves and the world around them. Painting helps children make friends. Painting together with your friends is a great for practicing social skills like team work, negotiation and cooperation. When children draw together it sparks them to experiment mixing different colours, which teaches them things like cause and effect. Creative play and artistic activities are important to children’s overall development. They help nurture imagination, and also develop problem-solving, thinking and motor skills. http://www.svos.org/artist.php

Artist Statement
Art is part of life; I love life so I love art. Painting is part of me, part of my imaginations, beliefs, and emotions. For me, as an artist, it doesn't matter what material I use; oil color, watercolor or anything else. It is my emotion, which defines what materials I should use. I am used to paint with oil color, watercolor, pastel, and mixed media. I grew up in the eastern culture, and my cultural background influences my painting that is why I use patterns and colors that have origins in my culture. I also love the beauty of nature and I am inspired by it. I have been an art teacher for a long time and I love teaching because I am always learning while teaching art.
