The Chickasaw Cultural Center recently received the Excellence in Community Partnership award for Monarch Butterfly Day at the Oklahoma Volunteerism Conference.

The award recognizes partners that demonstrate exceptional commitment to building and sustaining collaborations that address educational needs in their communities.

The Chickasaw Cultural Center shares this recognition with The Chickasaw Nation, Pontotoc County Master Gardeners, Oklahoma Native Plant Society, Texas Native Plant Society, 4-H Innovators, Okies for Monarchs, The Nature Conservancy, Blue Thumb and Euchee Butterfly Farm.

Search for clues, question the suspects and help uncover what happened during “Exhibit A and the Akanka,” a mystery dinner experience at the Chickasaw Cultural Center.

Choose from two evenings, Aug. 28 or 29 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $30 per person and reservations are required.
