The Alliance for the Great Lakes invites you to a “State of the Lakes” presentation

Sunday, August 2, 3:00- 5:00 at the Margaret Lockwood Gallery

Join us to bring together art, conversation and conservation as we explore the profound influence the Great Lakes have on our region and the people who call it home. The afternoon will feature a conversation about the Great Lakes as the inspiration behind Lockwood’s work, followed by a “State of the Lakes” presentation from the Alliance for the Great Lakes led by Matt Altstiel, Vice President for Advancement.

The event will provide an overview of the challenges facing the Great Lakes today, highlight how an emerging Great Lakes movement is working to protect and restore these extraordinary waters, and share meaningful ways that individuals and communities can get involved in safeguarding them for generations to come.

Light refreshments will be served with time to enjoy the artwork, connect with fellow Great Lakes enthusiasts, and continue the conversation.

Please R.S.V.P. to the Lockwood Gallery at [email protected]. The Gallery is located at 7 S 2nd Ave, Sturgeon Bay. We hope you will join us for an inspiring afternoon in celebration of the waters that connect us all. We look forward to seeing you….
