In celebration of tonight’s New York Knicks 🏀 championship ring ceremony, I wanted to bring my own interpretation of the moment to paper—pairing Captain Clutch with an enduring symbol of New York.

“Kiss the ring” traditionally represents loyalty, respect, or submission to someone of elevated stature. Here, I’ve reimagined that gesture as a tribute to Brunson’s leadership and the admiration he has earned from Knicks fans across New York and beyond.

Created on a northeastern map with oil pastels, acrylic paint markers, and colored pencils, this piece celebrates Arvell Reese and Sonny Styles—former defensive forces for the Ohio State Buckeyes, now NFC East rivals representing the New York Giants and Washington Commanders.

Through their embrace, I wanted to capture the bond formed in Columbus and carried into their professional careers. Former teammates, current competitors, and two talents making their mark in the NFL—this is my artistic tale of the tape for today’s matchup.

As a lifelong Giants fan, I’ve loved watching Reese’s dominant play. Major kudos and respect to Styles as well. Both organizations landed gems, and their Buckeye roots will always connect them.

Inspired by Mike "The Miz" Mizanin’s comments about wrestling being as big as ever today, this piece reflects my appreciation for the WWF I grew up watching. For those of us raised in the ’80s and ’90s, that era set a remarkable standard—and the Attitude Era was untouchable.

Growing up in Stamford, Connecticut, gave me a personal connection to the WWF. I loved its magazines, especially the cover artwork, which I often recreated in my drawings as a kid. Now, watching my son enjoy today’s wrestling reminds me just how spoiled we were.

For this piece, I wanted Jake “The Snake” Roberts’ snake to slither toward the word “Federation,” connecting the imagery to the dictionary itself.

A tribute to the larger-than-life characters, unforgettable moments, and creativity that made the WWF’s golden years so special. 💯🐍 ✨

Pennsylvania map piece created with oil pastels, colored pencils, and acrylic paint markers—inspired by the Eagles’ back-to-back losses to the Bears and Rams, with Gillie and Jo Jo providing the postgame entertainment. The Eagles supplied the nightmares; their reactions supplied the comedy. 😭

As a lifelong Giants fan, I used to pray for times like this. Now I’m drawing them. 🎨🙌🏾 🤘🏾🤘🏾💅🏾🎸🎸 ✨
