Sunday Thoughts 🤍

“Lord, take my plans and give me Yours.”

Sometimes that is one of the hardest prayers to pray.

We make plans. We picture how things should look. We set timelines and try to figure out every little detail. And then God gently reminds us,
“Trust Me. I can see what you cannot.”

I'm learning that surrender isn't giving up. It's giving it over.

Giving God my plans.
Giving Him my timing.
Giving Him the things I'm trying so hard to control.

And trusting that what He has for me is better than anything I could arrange for myself.

So today, my prayer is simple:

Lord, if my plans don't match Yours, change mine.
If I'm trying to force something You haven't chosen for me, help me release it.
And when I can't see what You're doing, give me enough faith to keep trusting You.

I don't need to have the whole plan.
I just need to know the One who does. 🤍

“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act.” — Psalm 37:5

Happy Sunday, friends. May we hold our plans a little more loosely today and hold onto Jesus a little more tightly. 🙏🏻❤️

Motivational Monday 🤍

Yesterday's reminder was to be still and trust God with the outcome.
But Monday brings another part of that lesson…

You don't have to know the whole plan to take the next faithful step.

Sometimes we want God to show us how everything is going to work out before we're willing to move forward. We want the answers, the timeline, and a little reassurance that everything is going to be okay.
But faith doesn't always work that way.

Sometimes God simply gives us enough wisdom and grace for today.

So this Monday, instead of worrying about everything that needs to happen next week, next month, or even next year, I'm asking myself:

What is the next faithful thing God has placed in front of me?
Then I'll do that.

One prayer.
One decision.
One act of obedience.
One day at a time.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

Here's to a new week of trusting God a little more and carrying a little less. 🤍

Be still. Trust Him. Then take the next faithful step.

This morning, I was reminded of something I think my heart really needed to hear…

Be still. God has the outcome. I have today. ❤️

How often do we spend today worrying about tomorrow?

We try to figure everything out. We carry the what ifs. We make plans in our minds and sometimes even lose our peace trying to control an outcome that was never ours to control.

Today I'm reminding myself that I can faithfully take care of what God has placed in my hands, while trusting Him with what happens next.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

Maybe someone else needs this reminder today too.

Do what God has given you to do today.

Love well today.
Be faithful today.
Trust Him today.

And leave tomorrow in His hands.

I have to tell you… I’m loving this one! The floral print, the little striped details and that easy, comfortable fit make it such a cute piece as we start thinking about those first touches of fall. 🍂

There’s just something about a Saturday morning at the boutique that I love. Turning on the lights, getting everything ready, sipping my tea and waiting to see who walks through the door.

🍂 Ohhhhh… the first touches of fall are starting to show up at Thee Quaint Market & Boutique! 🍂

I couldn’t even wait until these beauties made it onto the floor before giving you a little peek! 😍

I just unpacked these and LOOK at those colors — soft sage, beautiful florals, warm neutrals, and that fun little striped detail. 🤎

Opening boxes of new merchandise is still one of my favorite parts of owning the boutique. There’s just something exciting about seeing a new season begin to come together right before my eyes.

These beauties JUST came out of the box and will be making their way onto the floor soon!
