A wonderful week of Autumn colors. The leaves on the trees in Stonington are beautiful and inspire us to create. The North Stonington Senior center was in full form. Kathy carried the Dragonfly studio class on her own. Many students are recovering from knee issues and or traveling. I’m happy to share the wonderful paintings and drawings from both groups.
Enjoy ☺️

I enjoyed a terrific week with my lovely students and it goes without saying how blessed I am to do what I love … teach.
Enjoy the creativity from Dragonfly Art Studio and the North Stonington Senior Center art group.
I want to share the article from this month’s CT Magazine about our very own Anna M. Nicholson.
She’s not only a fantastic water colorist, she’s a delightful person and a trailblazer for someone her age. So happy for you … this is well deserved 💗👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The Studio was closed last week and the Senior Center was also closed so I took advantage of the time off and worked on a portrait of my son in oil paint. I painted this portrait with palette knife. I’m finally finished but it’ll take quite awhile to dry.
I look forward to seeing all my lovely students this week.
