My sincere apologies and I’ll see you next time.

It’s a beautiful day to pick out a book. We’re here from 2-4.

Do you remember the days of using paper maps to find your way? A GPS can never replace the feeling of holding a map in your hands, searching for the best route, or scanning all the tiny symbols for restaurants, lodging, and picnic areas. Who else besides me struggled with folding the maps back up?
I love this 1914 map reflecting Steinhatchee's previous name of Stephensville.

You may have noticed our new name, but don't worry - we're still going to carry a wide assortment of books. We have a limited amount of space though and will soon make minor adjustments to the inside that will create room for informative displays representing the history of the Steinhatchee River area. We are looking for items to add to our current collection of artifacts and memorabilia. If you have something that you think would be a good fit and are willing to donate your item for display, please contact me through messenger so we can chat about it. Stay tuned for this exciting new chapter. -Deb

We’re here today until 4:00.

Did you know we have some lovely Florida-themed artwork for sale? All proceeds go toward new books and/or upgrades to the library. These pieces were handmade quite a few years ago by local artist Susan Archibald. We are here until 4:00 today.
