Our Deepest Fear

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, handsome, talented, and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.
It is not just in some; it is in everyone.
And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

The Mountain Within

Weathered and rugged, this gourd’s surface echoes the North Cascade mountain range—its natural markings like stone ridges, its openings like glaciers resting in quiet rifts.

Open it, and another world emerges—one that has always been there, waiting to be revealed.

What we first see is never the whole story; often, the deepest beauty is when we experience it up close and personal.

Under the Quiet Moon

As twilight settles over the Pacific Northwest, the cool marine air pushes inland and unlocks the scent of cedar, fir, and moss. The forest awakens.

Beneath towering evergreens and a crescent moon, an owl breaks the evening silence with its first hoot, then glides silently between the trees, marking the beginning of the forest’s nightly rhythm.

A quieter world begins to stir as hidden creatures emerge from the shadows.
