Tomorrow at Make & Play, Friday, 5/29, 10:30–11:30a, we're working on marking, painting, and sticking to make our own little goldfish ponds.

Make & Play is an art play group designed for toddlers and preschoolers, but siblings of all ages are also welcome, and activities can be modified according to skill level. Come make something with us!

There are still a few spots available in the popular Handcrafted Broom workshop with Poliana Danila next Saturday, May 30th, 11–4p. Learn an ancient technique for making a handheld broom, and go home with a unique piece of usable art!

Flowers, flowers, and more flowers!

Last Saturday, we loved learning how to design floral bouquets from Sticky Petal Farm's Marcy Grobler.

THIS Saturday, we're making paper that will BECOME beautiful flowers! Join us Saturday, May 16, 12–2p to make seed paper that you can turn into tags or greeting cards for friends, or plant straight in the garden.

UPDATE on the Temporary Closure of Headwaters Arts Center:

Due to safety concerns around the clean up of the collapsed building next door to Headwaters, the art center will remain closed until Wednesday, April 29th.

Make your mom a special Mother's Day bouquet!

Marcy Grobler from Sticky Petal Farm will be here Saturday, May 9th, 11–12:30 to show us how to create beautiful flower arrangements. Participants leave with a vase of seasonal, locally grown flowers that they have arranged themselves – perfect for bringing spring into your home or giving to mom the next day.
