“Let’s Take A Walk”
Diptych – Mixed Media
50.5"H × 59"W
Sheryl and I are excited to be exhibiting next weekend at the Cottonwood Art Festival!
Let’s Take A Walk will be there along with a collection of my other original work.
This piece began as a quiet walk through an open field and became something more — an invitation to slow down, wander a little, and enjoy the journey.
If you’re coming to the festival, come see us at Booths 235–236. Sheryl and I would love to see you!
And while you’re there… let’s take a walk.

"I start by drawing lines with charcoal and graphite. I use a makeup sponge to smooth and add shadows. I brush in colors using acrylic paint and seal with fixative spray. I repeat the process and apply several coats of UV clear finish."

Breath of Life is an original mixed media painting on canvas, 96 inches x 60 inches that is also custom framed by artist Jimmy McDonald. Art By Jim and Sheryl McDonald

See the full collection at Cottonwood Art Festival, open Saturday and Sunday, October 3-4 at Cottonwood Park in Richardson, Texas. Admission is free.
