I am pleased to announce a new venture!

Bill’s Quintet will be in residence at Middle River Gallery beginning with an opening concert Friday May 8th at 6pm.

A Woodwind Quintet is a standard chamber ensemble format originating from the center of an orchestral wind section. We started as most woodwind quintets do by one of us saying in rehearsal one day, “Hey, we should do a woodwind quintet.” In this case, it was Bill.

Our gallery location is fairly central to the musicians, (and by dumb luck) has fantastic acoustics, as well as a diverse and growing arts community in town.

SO! Let’s bring the bougie. We have a short, fun opening program (about a half hour so don’t be late) followed by an art reception.

Please come and welcome the group to Stafford!

There will be snacks.

Hi Everybody!

As you may have noticed, I’ve slowly been working on a plan that has been simmering in the depths for a while, and I now have some exciting events lined up!

I made the decision this summer to use one of our storefronts as an art space. I’ve set up the beautiful walls to host local fine art during shop hours while keeping the floor space open and available for additional types of art events.

We’ve had some holiday craft markets, and I will continue to host those for special events (more on that later)! And we’ve also had some local community music pop-up performances.

This month (this coming weekend), we have two exciting new gallery art events for you:

First! On Friday evening at 8PM we have a beginner-beginner Argentine tango dance lesson! No partner or experience is required. Come explore this beautiful art! More information at https://www.facebook.com/share/1DSYpDqwkD/

As shop keepers we know that our community is comprised of doers, and as a multi-artist I feel my best use is to bring you art. 🖼️ Help us keep Stafford multi-faceted and vibrant.
