Call for Art!
Modern Mythologies: Ancient Archetypes,
Contemporary Bodies

Gods, goddesses, creatures, monsters, superheroes, comics, fantasy and lore. What would they be like today? Modern Mythologies invites artists to imagine these entities living amongst us. Reimagine ancient stories through a contemporary lens—where gods are fragmented, monsters are reclaimed, and archetypes are rewritten to reflect lived experience. These works move beyond traditional retellings, exploring mythology as something personal, political, emotional, and embodied.

Curator: Bonnie (Bea) Jean
Co-curator: Adam Wayne
Juror: Tom Carlson
Deadline: October 31st at 11:59pm

Opening night: Friday, November 13th 7-9pm

To enter visit our website (SoulardArtGallery.com) and click on the call for art tab. It’s free to enter up to 3 pieces of work!
