late evening in studio building a mounting ledge and brackets for the drawing desk. i am mounting it to the side of the workbench. this is one of many steps to make the shop more organized and space to be used more efficiently. the "desk" will eliminate the drafting table and i will have a better view of TV (haha) the tricky part is it has to be easily removeable. pictures soon

Latest "blue" notes, the blue and yellow one has the poured smooth edge on two of the outside edged. The spoted one is some scrap that my cousin Amy Pilliard's dad gave me. The glass had a sticker that said it was made in seattle. The blue/yellow is a piece of Kokomo ends

My favorite idea for a reused item is my cutting surface. An old celing light diffuser plasric grid is what I set the glass on when cutting. Little chips that result can be fatal to bigger pieces when the are set on top of them. When pressure is applied for a cutting the chips can cause a crack. This surface let's the crap fall in the holes. That way I do not to have brush the work surface after each cut. It saves me so many steps on construction. The last pic is the stuff that fell through.
