Saint Louis Science Center's Social Media Guidelines: https://www.slsc.org/saint-louis-science-center-social-media-guidelines/

The Saint Louis Science Center is one of the only free, nonprofit science museums in the country, one of the top five science centers in the United States, and one of the largest science centers in the U.S. and abroad serving more than 500,000 people each year. Our campus features hundreds of interactive experiences in ten galleries, as well as our indoor-outdoor GROW agricultural pavilion and gallery, our famous McDonnell Planetarium, and a four-story OMNIMAX® Theater. Our mission: to inspire everyone to be curious and engaged in science. We envision an equitable and inclusive society where people are passionate about science and use it to improve lives, transform communities, and empower future generations. By creating a place where everyone can discover together, the Saint Louis Science Center is forging the future of our region. We’re putting St. Louis at the center of science, and science at the center of a more connected world. For more information about the Saint Louis Science Center, please visit: https://www.slsc.org/

What an incredible evening. ✨ Thank you to everyone who joined us for Club WONDER: Light Years Ahead and helped make this year’s event a stellar success. Through the generosity of our sponsors, members, partners, donors and guests, we raised $400,000 to support the Saint Louis Science Center’s year-round mission.

Your support helps provide free access for all, hands-on STEM learning, engaging exhibits, community outreach, and programs that spark curiosity and inspire discovery every day.

A special thank you to our event chairs, Edward and Margot Monser, co-chairs Mark and Anna Sears, and our dedicated volunteer committee for their leadership, passion, and commitment to making this unforgettable night possible.

Together, we’re opening doors to curiosity and wonder for our entire community.

Look up, St. Louis! ☄️ The Orionid Meteor Shower returns this month, bringing fast-moving meteors, glowing trails and a connection to one of the most famous objects in our solar system: Halley’s Comet.

The Orionids peak October 21-22 and typically produce about 10-20 meteors per hour under dark skies at peak. But there’s a catch this year: a bright waxing gibbous Moon will wash out some of the fainter meteors. 🌙 Your best chance? Find a dark spot and look up after the Moon sets in the early morning hours through dawn on October 22.

SAVE this guide for your sky-watching adventure, then keep exploring the night sky with us at the Planetarium. 🔭
