Thank you, Parkway South! ❤️

Parkway South High School students spent their Day of Service with us at the Frank Lloyd Wright House in Ebsworth Park. They began with a tour, learning about the history of the house and the design philosophies of Frank Lloyd Wright. Then they got to work removing invasive honeysuckle!

A big thank you to our partner, St. Louis County Parks and Recreation for coordinating everything, and to the students and teachers for the time and effort they gave.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning for A Trolley Tour Through St. Louis' Storied Past at ! 🚎

A special shout-out to Carol Shepley, author of Movers and Shakers, Scalawags and Suffragettes: Tales from Bellefontaine Cemetery, for leading us with such wit, insight, and deep historical knowledge. Stepping inside Louis Sullivan's Wainwright Tomb was a true highlight, and Carol brought the stories of the visionaries, civic leaders, artists, and characters who rest there vividly to life.

Sullivan was Frank Lloyd Wright's mentor, so it was a joy to experience his architectural legacy together.

Watch the FLWHEP’s stained glass windows throw their pattern across the floor, then land on the hexagonal tables and stools. Everything here is built on 60° and 120° angles, so the glass, the furniture and the shadows all echo each other.

Happy birthday, Carl Lehne! 🎉

Watch Hagemann Elementary students wish Carl, the FLWHEP’s 94-year-old docent a very happy birthday during their visit.
Big thanks to our extraordinary team of docents and tour assistants, Kay Dusenbery, Joe and Zeena Goldberg, and Ann Babington, for making it a memorable experience for the group of 35 Hagemann students.

It's volunteers like these who bring the house to life for visitors of every age.
