We’re grateful to everyone who joined us for this important conversation on the rise of antisemitism, conspiracy culture, and online radicalization.

Thank you to our moderator, Mark Weitzman, and our expert panelists: Tal-Or Cohen Montemayor, Mike Rothschild, and Anna Merlan, for sharing their insights and urgency around these critical issues. And thank you to our partners at the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, Busey Bank, and Stuart and Marie Block Charitable Trust.

At a time when misinformation and hate spread rapidly online and offline, conversations like these matter more than ever. We must continue to listen, learn, and ask thoughtful questions about how we can recognize, resist, and respond to antisemitism in our communities.

Come see our latest Artifact Spotlight featuring a series of hand-illustrated postcards from 1938 Vienna that reveal how propaganda and harmful stereotypical caricatures were used to spread antisemitism and shape public opinion. These artifacts offer an important look at how everyday media helped normalize prejudice and hatred, and why recognizing these patterns still matters today.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Hands on History this past Sunday!

Visitors had the opportunity to get up close with artifacts from our collection and learn more about the important work that goes into preserving and documenting these pieces of history. We loved seeing so many people engage with artifacts that are not usually on display and connect with history in a hands-on way.

Thank you for spending your afternoon with us and helping keep these stories alive.
