Pennsylvania House Museum The Pennsylvania House Museum is a historic landmark that was built as a major stop on the National The 7,000 sq. ft.

Built in the 1830's, the Pennsylvania House served as one of the finest inns on the National Road. building served many purposes including tavern, restaurant, general store, and even medical services at one time. The beautiful facility hosts the amazing button collection of Ms. Grace Porter, which boasts over 100,000 beautiful and unique buttons. The Museum is host to many wonderful items from the

era, including a awe inspiring twelve room Federal style dollhouse. The Pennsylvania House at one point fell into a sad state of disrepair and was due for demolition, the Lagonda Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution intervened in 1939 and have worked to maintain the building ever since. Now with the aid of donors, history lives at the Pennsylvania House for all to enjoy.

Visit our Artisans & watch Tatting, Basket Weaving & Spinning. Enjoy Christmas Music in our ballroom.
Our DAR crafters have been making amazing creations for last several months that will be for sale in our expanded Holiday Mercantile.
We will also have the original Gingercakes & Shrewsbury Cakes available that you used to enjoy at The Fair at New Boston.
