Spring is almost here!! Nature is planning on green grass and plenty of foliage. Almost time to dust off and get the museum ready for the 2026 season.
We already have the annual cook out date reserved for JUNE 12 & 13. Looking forward to 2026 and sharing our local history!

The museum staff was in need of a computer, printer, and software. By having this equipment and software we can not only meet our general public request for research into family and local history, but also to catalog our donations and keep track of our financial budget. In September staff members, Melissa Zopp and Tom Grant made a presentation to the SPRINGBROOK VFW requesting funding for the computer needs.

After the meeting we were told that $1,200.00 donation would be made to cover our computer cost.
Mr. Claude Shehane a VFW member, donated $1,200 to the museum.

So with the donation the computer equipment and software has been purchased. The museum staff is so grateful and thankful for this generous donation. The Springbrook VFW is an important part of our community and very supportive of our Historical Museum.

Without our community financial support the Museum would not have the opportunity to preserve the 1906 building or fully serve our community.

Thank you to the Hayward Lions for donating $500 to help us pay for heating the museum over the winter. We keep the temperature just below 50 degrees to help preserve the interior of the building and it's contents. Without such donations it would be impossible to financially afford to heat the building. Generous donation is much appreciated!

The Springbrook museum closed for the season after very successful summer season! Thank you to all the folks that stopped in and visited our local history. What's on the winter agenda? Working to get a computer system, printer and computer programs to assist families to find their local history and catalog all our donations to the museum. Made a presentation to the Springbrook VFW to help with the funding. Also looking for financial help to pay for the heating cost for over the winter.

The Springbrook St. Mary Magalene cemetery, originally land donated by Mrs. Lombard, added a sign this year. Originally a Catholic cemetery, now a non denominational cemetery. All are welcome to find their final resting place.
